As Assistant Superintendent of Anthony Wayne Local Schools, I work to develop a shared vision of learning that supports high-quality educational services. I also work to cultivate relationships that enhance student learning and promote a strong commitment to public support for the district; analyze data to improve school operations; provide recommendations to the Board of Education regarding district policies; work to create enthusiasm and teamwork with district administration and teaching staff; help administer the instructional program for the district; help evaluate and recommend instructional materials and equipment; communicate expectations, provide guidance, and show active interest in student progress; participate in collaborative planning of effective staff development programs; facilitate short- and long-term planning activities; help delineate financial and program resources necessary to achieve district objectives; pursue growth opportunities that enhance professional performance and advance district goals.

As School Improvement Consultant, I assist in various aspects of the district.  I assist, Assistant Superintendent, Kevin Herman, with curriculum, professional development for certified and non-certified staff, and human resources.  I also serve on several district committees while representing the district at various meetings and trainings in the area.  My duties also include assisting Director of Transportation, Steve Puchta, when needed including road checks during periods of  in climate weather.

I work with Mr. Herman, the Assistant Superintendent.  Along with assisting Mr. Herman, my duties, in part, include creating and maintaining spreadsheets and files for Teaching, Non-Teaching, and Substitute Personnel ensuring that all staff members maintain their certificates and licenses; directs inquiries for Employment Opportunities at AWLS and maintain the Staff Directory.   As Receptionist, in addition to answering the phone and greeting visitors, I do background checks for employees, make employee ID badges, and assist with district enrollment as needed.
