Who is "Mad" Anthony Wayne

General Anthony Wayne had a key role during the American Revolution as a Major General for the Continental forces under General George Washington. Wayne was used to re-capture the American fort Stony Point on the Hudson River, where Wayne captured or killed the whole 700-man British garrison. This attack halted British offensive operations in the north.

Theodore Roosevelt

“A blind and ignorant resistance to every effort for the reform of abuses and for the readjustment of society to modern industrial conditions represents not true conservatism, but an incitement to the wildest radicalism; for wise radicalism and wise conservatism to go hand in hand, one bent on progress, the other bent on seeing that no change is made unless in the right direction.”
Theodore Roosevelt, 1908
